COUNTDOWN ON A SPREADSHEET
Countdown Lite is a slimmed down version of the program I wrote to train for my appearance. It runs on a spreadsheet so is ideal for work. It runs best if you solve in your head but you can write down if you prefer. The dictionary contains about 33000 words which have been mined from the Internet and have mainly been checked but there are bound to be a proportion which are not allowable. My main dictionary has about 70000 words but about 5-10% are disallowed which makes it unsuitable for posting.
If anyone knows a source for a reliable Countdown dictionary or can compile a list of words to add or delete from the program's dictionary please email me at mail@jerryh.org.uk.

Updated 29/10/04 - approx 5000 words added to dictionary. These are all words that have occurred in my 'other' Countdown spreadsheet and have been checked in NODE (though a few rogues may have got through).
