This annual Bristol event no doubt takes place in dozens of Student Unions up and down the country - and if not, it should do!

The basic rule is that you must finish your current pint before you can win or draw a game. At the start each player has to choose a pint from a 'menu' of four drinks. After winning you get topped up with another pint, or half if you draw.

Matt the multi-tasking controller has to phone through the orders to the bar. What on earth did they do in the pre-mobile era?
|
|
|
|
A crisis about to occur: with only a few seconds each Mike has difficulty finishing his drink. Although both flags fall the evidence is clear to see and Jonathan wins.
|
|
|
|
Some players start to flag towards the end, but at the top of the tournament it's business as usual.
